The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it really is alarmed regarding the superior quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This sassa is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The service stage developed for intervention encounters a large influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and improve usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
